Not a pun, but I’m willing to expand the meme.
I remember it like it was yesterday :’)

So the summer is officially over. I have had a great time, and its weird really because I haven’t really done anything specifically interesting, important or even note worthy. I suppose its just the months of pent up stress from exams and school being released. Being able to do NOTHING and NOT feel guilty about it. Also I’m probably just really easily amused.
In a few weeks, its on to the next one, leaving London Town, meeting new people growing up (but not too much) and just generally having a ball (I hope). I think theres a mixture of excitement and nerves, but I think its normal and im not gonna be a complete bag of nerves in freshers week.
I’m gonna miss all the qpcs crew though, even the ones who i wasnt necessarily close with, its weird in a way i suppose its a kind of security and the fact that i’m probably not gonna know half the peeps in 5 years is strange/sad/disheartening. Even if just for the fact that they’ve in some way been a part of daily life for so many years. And how weird is it gonna be knowing you can’t just pop down to wilesden/ Kensal Rise and know your gonna spot someone you know (wow, sound a bit stalkerish there)
Anyway, I suppose this is a really long winded way of saying; I’m gonna miss so many people, including those who im definitely gonna be visiting/cyber stalking/ generally harrassing etc etc. And I wish everyone the best of luck this year with whatever they’re doing!

Definitely spend all my time watching Jake and Amir. [Geek] I love CollegeHumor.
Yesterday I was watching some documentary on Channel 4 about the war on drugs, apparently in America the average sentence for the possession/dealing of cocaine is 1 year. Whereas the sentencing for possession/dealing of crack is up to 10 years.
Also research has found that on average whites use the same amount of drugs as blacks and Latinos, yet 9 out of 10 people in prison for drug related crimes are, you guessed it, black or Latino.
I just found it interesting that ‘the system’ which is supposed to be fair and just to all without bias, is far from so.
Needless to say I had a GOOD night.
Also Sam’s being open at 5.30 in the morning (because of Ramadan, I think) saved my life.
